Now I'm getting an error that it cannot load the diskette, says to hit F1 to continue or F2 to enter setup, if I hit F1 I get a blue screen TRIED ONE MORE TIME...GOT A SCREEN SAYING WINDOWS COULD NOT START..BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...TRIED ALL THE OPTIONS LAST KNOWN, SAFEMODE W/COMMANDS, SAFEMODE WITH NETWORK...START NORMALLY, ETC...TRIED SEVERAL TIMES AND IT FINALLY BOOTED THANK YOU! happily nstalling my "Home Server" now!!!

WITH THE DELL RESOURCE DISK? This Works !! I installed XP LITE, works like a jet, thx again. The Dimension 8400 graphics hardware can also use the AMD ATI Radeon X850XT Platinum (R480 (PCIE)) hardware.
The file that Dell provides is a recovery disk. You just saved my 8300 from being executed with a 12 guage shotgun - been trying to load XP to a SATA drive for two days.
