I used half a can of air spray on it.Is the thing dying a slow death? It's fundtional with the old PSU, but very loud and too loud to leave the computer on at night in our bedroom. Sometimes, this is just a matter of spraying compressed air (made specifically for PC parts and sold in a can) into the fans to clean the dust from them. I have 3 fans total but they run at very slow speeds. And machine performance was normal. It hasn't really done that before when I've moved it. Sure enough, the system is much quieter than most--an important factor for a Media Center system. There seems to be a lot of screws holding the box on there. Even if your are, it's still doable.
