This will hide any video mode that your video card and monitor can't support, and make them unavailable.I currently use 2 monitors. This is where I could pick ONE image for my desktop background, if I wanted to look at the same picture all the time. Now, set your current wallpaper to whatever you want.

Sad that the problem was wide spread enough, yet ignored so there had to be a third party application written to correct it.
