Or you can go to the sound card manufacturer’s website and look for new drivers for your device. Take a look in Hardware Manager and see if there are two or more audio devices installed. navigate here
Also, if you are using high CPU plugs that too matters. Checked for mute symbols anywhere. To be fair, this article was written pre-Windows 10. at first it was just background music playing, as if you where watching a movie and just muted their voices and where listening to the background music that was playing.

Is your sound back yet?
If I go back to factory setting, I'll lose all my Family photos. If you can fix it, you just learned something. :) Reply Emily January 17, 2016 at 5:30 pm My sound only works when I plug my headphones in. I'm a newbie but I've spent a lot of time just reading everything to not have these problems occur, btw please be kind (I'm sure there's something I've said that is Has anyone seen this occur before?

That didn’t work? If you find them there, unplug them and try the speakers again. This device hasnt even taken a beating. While I'm obviously not playing audio back while recording, it would be handy to hear how something sounded after I finished recording a segment to make sure it's clear.

It's also not supported by digi. I noticed that it happens not only with UAD but also with TL-Space, some soundtoys etc... I’ve had a few where there were ports on the front and back but only one set of them worked. his comment is here I'm at a loss for words at what to do here, and I really need some ideas where to start/what it could be.
I recommend trying to get as many plugs that you use frequently in the TDM realm. Played around that area alot too. Well restarted and finished installing plugins.
Some sound cards will have their own spot in the Control Panel. Also you could use a third party driver scanning tool like Driver Talent. I haven't changed anything here, same OS/disk...I can't believe how this stuff happens but it sure does. What was corrupt?
Is it on the same disk as the OS? I'm sure the internal ones have to cut out when i have external speakers connected surely ? Setup is as follows: PT 9.03HD Snow Leopard 10.6.6 APPLE iMac (12,2 27" mid-2011 model) Internal SATA 1TB LaCie Little2BigDisk 240 GB THunderBolt SSD Split into 2 partitions (120GB), one for http://transcoderesearch.com/desperately-need/desperately-need-help-for-winmx.html I have since redone a fresh factory re-install of windows 7 64 bit (same as before) and even tried a new sound card.
Hopefully, you'll see your missing playback device. Inserted OS Snow Leopard 10.6.6 Disk and repaired the SSD, said the volume appears OK...great, eh? Grew up there back in the late 80's and early 90's. when i plug in my speakers in i do hear some sound..
If there is no sound card, the only fix is to install a sound card. Check on those things and look into them. The configuration of the speakers plays sound just fine. From some reason I get better results when I choose 1 Processor (instead of 2) in the Playback Engine dialog, and set the limit to 99%, but still even then it
I will research it and see what I can come up with. i am sorry for my bad explanation, but i don't know what else to say... Ive looked and didn't see anything on avid's support saying PT 9.03 has this problem occurring, nor OS Snow Leopard 10.6.6. Or you can navigate to the sound card through Device Manager and check there to see if the sound card is enabled and the driver is good.
