Also try disabling the Automatic Super Webcam mode. Or at least check your flash settings with respect to the webcam use. Also try: 1) plugging the webcam directly on the PC if you use a USB hub. 2) plug only the webcam on the USB port. One user suggested reinstall the entire dell webcam software and if it works do not update the driver.
Is there anyway I can fix it? Kyle on Sat, 11th Apr 2009 12:09 pm @Alicia - It's rare for a built in webcam to break down, so more likely That was a conflict between the software running, the video driver and the camera driver. Sometimes after reconnecting I see a message saying that the USB Device cannot be recognized. Edit: Also, when it disconnects, it doesn't disconnect like you're unplugging a USB.
