Once selected, the schedule may be configured by clicking on the Modify schedule... Chkdsk /r is the only effective check of the file system that I am aware of...while the appropriate hard drive diagnostic is available for download at the website of the hard I have just finished defragging. (Old School Stuff) Hope it works for you.
